Elizabeth Layne Heirloom

1920’s Girl’s button-on Suit

Wow! A true vintage find!

Later on, in the easy 1900’s, color began to appear in baby and children’s wear. Peach or pink was a favorite for girls. A bloused top buttoning onto shorts was also ‘in’ during this time period.

• Perfectly peach linen
• Extensively decorated with fine cutwork on lace lapel collar and sleeve.
• Original Mother-of-pearl buttons

This beauty might fit from 4-6 depending on child’s measurements.
20” shoulder to shorts stride - there is room to lower buttons on the undergarment we created to pair with shorts.

Top alone is 15.5” long
Shorts alone are almost 12” long
Leg holes are a tiny bit over 14”

We tried on an average sized 6-year-old and shorts were a bit too tight so estimating it to fit a 4T to a small sized six- year-old best.
